Farmer Seedlings | Ages 7-11 | June 27-July 1 | Day Camp Session 9AM-3PM

Seedlings, put on your summer hats and roll up your sleeves, you’re going to be farmers all week long! Learn the ins-and-outs of what it takes to grow your own flowers and food— from seed, to harvest, to tummy.

Explore different habitats and meet some of our dearest decomposer pals, like worms and roly-polies. Engage your hands and tastebuds alike through berry feasting, sprout tending, and more!

Beyond worms and berries, you’ll dig into your farmer journey by helping care for our Pollinator Hotel, harvesting your own snacks, learning from our farm experts, and practicing using REAL farm tools! You can learn the secrets of caring for seasonal produce  and take these skills home to teach your friends and siblings. The week ends with a camper-led, free farmers market full of fun and tasty surprises for the whole family!

PAYMENT: Oxbow’s Camp payment is due at the time of registration and is on a sliding scale per single camper. Please pay as much as you are able -- any amount over the suggested cost of $380 will support the registration costs of fellow campers as well as the time and materials of Oxbow Staff.If cost is a barrier, we encourage you to contact us at education@oxbow.org.
